Outreach activity for the school girls
There is still a belief that electrical engineering sciences are mainly for men. However this myth can be disproved by self-example of female scientist and her fully equipped Light-on-a-Chip experimental laboratory including female PhD students:
Our recent outreach activity for high-school girls at Year 10 of their studies was conducted in our research ab. It was our pleasure to host 25 girls and expose them to the beautiful world of photonics and electrootpics research in our laboratory and show them fascinating experiments.
Four of them are already willing to register for the BSc studies at Electrical and Computer Engineering prior to their military service.
